This first story, “Bayett”, follows a young Necromancer. It’s the first of a dozen short stories that follow various characters across the world of Osterin. You can get more information on the world at http://www.osterin.com, though it is currently a work in progress and is by no means required reading.

If you want to follow the stories, I suggest subscribing to the RSS feed. If you come in halfway through a story, or you want to remember what happened (some of the stories can get pretty long), you can click the category buttons, in this case the one labelled “Bayett”. This gives a format more suitable to reading more than a page at a time.

The update schedule is five times a week, Monday through Friday.

Enjoy,

This is where Bayett’s story ends.

If you’re disappointed by the ending, just trust me when I say you will meet Bayett again.

The next story will follow Sasha, a young girl who develops a completely different set of abilities. And uses them for different ends.

I know, it’s not very exciting so far. But it gets better. “Sasha” is a dark story, perhaps even darker than the last, full of murder, betrayal and partial nudity.

It’s also long; more than twice the length of the previous story. For that reason, I’ve uploaded the full story here for those of you who can’t wait a month for the entire story to be up for free. Bayett’s story can also be found there.

I hope you enjoy this story.

And that final betrayal brings us to the end of Sasha’s story.

I assure you that the next story isn’t quite so dark. I mean, sure, a few guys die, but they’re jerks anyway. It’s also not quite so long.

Hope you enjoyed this story. Many more to come.

“Edwin” is the story of a Storyteller who ends up with strange blank spots in his memory. It’s not quite as long as the last story, but longer than “Bayett”. It should take three weeks or so to get through.

As always, for the impatient types, you can buy the entire story at Smashwords here for $0.99.

Enjoy!
